2011 and beyond
So, the new year is here and this is the evening of the Raw food tour around some of my shopping sites in Stuttgart.
Flavor and tastes are the cornerstone of the Raw food paradigm. In eating a (SAD) standard american diet, we often eat for comfort, social ability, emotional distress and basic boredom. For many, many people they just eat out of habit. When your stomach growls it's probably not because you are hungry. Hunger originates in the throat much like thirst does.
Fasting allows your digestive tract and system a rest. Some can just go a day, some for three and some for a couple of weeks. Take your time and see what your body needs. What it likes and dislikes ad how it reacts.

Experiment!
Explore!
and Enjoy! This just life, all we want to do is live it and live it in health and vibrancy.
If all you are eating is dead things, how much life can you REALLY have?
Some say you are what you eat. You are also what you absorb.
Let's say I attend an event or function and unknown to me there will be smoking allowed there and I am overly exposd to second hand smoke. I will fast and cleanse the same evening and the next couple of days to get those carcinogens and toxins OUT OF MY BODY ASAP!!
I hope that the encouragement to be in charge of your life and health choices is sparking you to read more books, google more information and SEE just where you are. Start right there. Don't jump the gun and go for a 10 day if that's not where you are. If taking a breakfast smoothie everyday is where you are. Then be there and evaluate the changes in your health, energy, vitality and mood.
Take your time and be forgiving. This is new to many and theres no one to compare your experience to. Be one with your highest good..and document your results so you can see from where you came.
