Greens in Germany

One of the big things here is that what they eat as greens and what Americans eat as greens are really different.  One of our staples are "GREENS".  Kale, collards, chard, turnip, mustard, things of that nature.  Those types of "greens" are not so much the norm here for eating like we do or juicing or much at all.  There are only a few times a year that the farmers even grow kale mostly in the winter and the leaves of the vegetables. . . the greens of kohlrabi (turnip), beets, and other root vegetables, they simply throw away in the store it the produce comes in with the tops or the store throws them away prior to putting out for sale.

Since so many of our Raw food recipes, juices and smoothies call for "greens"  I am doing a trip this week to find alternative sources of greens germain to this part of Germany.  My green smoothie delight yesterday was made with

GREEN SMOOTHIE (GRUN TRINKIN)

2 cups feld salat
1 cup kohlrabi blatter
1 cup strawberries
2 juiced apples
2 bananas
2 cups water

Blend in your HP blender till smooth and VERY VERY GREEN!!  add ice at the end if you like and enjoy for sure..

Living a green dietary existence is not hard, its necessary.  My motto is:  If where you are is not where you mean to be at....then you gotta go someplace else.

In other words if your health is not what you want. . . CHANGE IT.

If your get up and go has got up and went. . .GET UP, and go get a different kind.
I've seen it written a hundred places that INSANITY is doing the same thing over and over yet always expecting a different result.

I agree and I add, HEREDITY is eating what they ate, living how they lived, believing what they believed and doing as they do, gives you the diseases and illnessess that they die from..

You have two ears and one mouth.  Use them in that order.  Listen twice as often as you talk and you will hear alot that could possibly change your life FOREVER.

Your mind is like a parachute, it only works when it's FULLY OPEN.

WOW this was exhausting, I got to go make my smoothies for the day.
